Welcome!
dedicated to providing opportunities for the non-professional classical musician to perform and network with fellow amateurs. Our members gather in Manhattan on a monthly basis to:
Giving a Voice to Amateur Classical Musicians
Few continue past adulthood, allowing a wonderful talent to waste away. We are committed to giving non-professional classical musicians the motivation to study and perform music again. At ACMA meetings, members can perform any classical piece they wish, in front of fellow amateurs. The audience will be supportive and encouraging, as well as offer the occasional constructive critique. This is not a classroom setting, nor should it substitute formal musical training.
